Wheeler's Farm — (Toby in coach-house), view to back, sloping fields, church, etc. Talk, P. R. B. ; education doesn't alter character. Sons at Charterhouse, have done well at Cambridge. (L. D. a little like Hook, but with a sad and languid air in comparison, and dark eyes instead of gray-blue) — a friendly meeting ; drive home by Lea Park and Witley Village.
