Sea-line. As we see the human body or one of its limbs undraped, so here Nature shows us a limb of our planet in undress, and we see the nakedness of the sea - line. 'T is a sublime curve, yet causes an uncomfortable feeling. To Nature, as to man, we say. Still be drest ! Still hide a poverty even so grand under the orna- mented details of a broken landscape.
